David Wiggin

Managing Director

David founded Ptarmigan Media in 1993 after working as media director at First Financial and Grandfield Rork Collins. He has worked in the financial advertising industry for 15 years gaining vast amounts of experience in advising a wide range of clients from investment bankers, PR firms to asset managers on their media requirements, both in the UK and internationally.

Matt Ball

Media Director

Matt is a member of the client accounts team, jointly heading up the retail and institutional finance team with Matt Woodford. He has worked at Ptarmigan Media for the past five years, first booking online media and then moving into mainstream retail accounts.

Matt has a wide variety of clients and has also developed and continues to manage the Ptarmitracker response management system. His eight years of experience in the industry comes from working on the financial sales teams at FT magazines and at The Guardian and The Observer newspapers before joining Ptarmigan Media in 1999.

Tim Jones

Media Director

Tim joined the company in October 2000 and has since built and developed the only financial service specialist online media planning and buying team in the UK. Tim and his team look after the needs of Ptarmigan Media’s mainstream multi-media clients who require an online element to their campaigns as well as clients who only want to use Ptarmigan’s online service. Tim has previous media sales expertise in both press and online.

Anne Streeter

Media Director

Anne is a founding member of Ptarmigan Media having known David Wiggin for some years beforehand when she was Media Director at the full service financial agencies City Marketing and Streets.

Following the arrival of her first child in 1993 Anne was looking to get back into the business and this neatly coincided with David’s own plans for the company.

Anne has extensive media buying and planning knowledge spanning both national and international media. Her particular speciality is the financial sector.

Having worked in most areas of the business it was her international experience that naturally led her to head the expansion plans for developing the international fund price publication services side of the business in 2003.

Anne combines a busy work schedule with family life in East Sussex. Much of her spare time is spent involved in her two children’s school life, but given the chance Anne also enjoys cooking, gardening, entertaining and sleeping!

Nigel Wells

Media Director

Nigel has worked in the financial advertising industry for fifteen years, the last seven years with RCL Media as client services director. Over that time he has managed the accounts of a number of high profile asset managers, retail banks and private banks, both domestically and internationally. He has specialised in the offshore finance arena and has constantly looked to drive the accountability of media in an often unresearched marketplace. Prior to agency life, Nigel worked for the BBC and the Financial Times Group.

Matt Woodford

Media Director

Matt has been with Ptarmigan Media since 2000 and heads up the International Team in addition to managing some key UK clients. Matt has a sales and marketing background having worked client side prior to taking management positions at Guardian & Observer.

In addition to his international responsibilities Matt also oversees the agency’s research projects and output.

Matt lives in Battersea with his wife and two sons and enjoys golf, climbing (from the safety of his living room these days) and Cornish surfing trips.
